Press Smile!

A photo booth your guests operate without being shown how. One red button, a printed photo in their hand — and every shot on their phone the next morning.

The booth

A picture frame with a camera behind it.

Flight case, DSLR, printer and touchscreen — and a real gilded frame around the screen. Built, not bought.

Your design

Ten start screens. Or one with your name on it.

The screen greets your guests to suit the occasion — animated, not a still image. I set the title and subtitle to your event. Click through:

The print

Real photo prints. Not till receipts.

Printing is done by dye sublimation onto photo paper — no inkjet. The colour is vaporised into the surface rather than laid on top, and the printer seals it with a protective coat. The print comes out dry, does not smudge, and survives a spilled drink on the dance floor.

Postcard format, around 40 seconds per photo — and your guests take it straight home.

Sample print in landscape format: a group of people celebrating with props in front of a gold backdrop, framed by a neon design, with a company logo in the lower right
Single photo One shot, filling the frame in your chosen design.

The panel in the lower right shows where your company logo, club crest or wedding monogram sits — filled with a placeholder here. The people shown are AI-generated; these samples illustrate the print layout, not photographs from real events.

How it works

Four steps, none of them yours.

Your guests need no explanation, and you get a short briefing at handover. No further technical knowledge required.

  1. Step 01

    I deliver and set up

Delivery, setup and a short briefing — after that you operate the booth yourself. I handle teardown and collection too.

  2. Step 02

    Press Smile!

Stainless steel buttons and a large preview display. Self-explanatory for guests of any age.

  3. Step 03

    The print comes out

Printed on site on photo paper, postcard format, around 40 seconds per photo.

  4. Step 04

    Gallery over Wi-Fi

Every guest opens the photos on their own phone, downloads them or has them printed again.

What's included

Everything the booth needs to run.

A DSLR, not a webcam

There is a digital SLR inside the booth. The prints are sharp and well lit, not grainy like a vending machine.

Printed on the spot

Dye sublimation onto photo paper instead of inkjet: dry, smudge-proof, sealed. Postcard format, around 40 seconds per photo. The cassette holds 18 prints and reloads in seconds.

Gallery over Wi-Fi

I bring the hotspot or connect the booth to your network. Every guest sees all the shots on their own phone and can download them.

Your design

Ten animated start screens to choose from, plus your own print layout and your company logo, club crest or wedding monogram on the print.

Delivery included

Delivery, setup, briefing, teardown and collection are included in the price. You organise nothing on the day.

Print allowance to suit

Prints are agreed in blocks of 100. We estimate together beforehand what fits your guest count.

In action

One evening, 620 photos.

0 photos in a single evening

At the Kulturnacht in Ulm on 19 September 2026 the booth stood at the Verschwörhaus — under the motto "photos for everyone", free for every visitor.

Over 620 shots in one evening, printed and taken home. If a booth handles that, it will handle your wedding.

Who is behind it

The booth is hand-built: a digital SLR, a printer and a display in a flight case — and a real gilded picture frame around the screen, because a photo booth is allowed to look like something you would hang on a wall.

Building it myself is also why so much can be adapted: print layout, backgrounds, your logo or monogram on the print. What an off-the-shelf rental unit does not allow for is a matter of arrangement here.

Send me the occasion, date, location and a rough guest count — and whether it is a private or a corporate event. Then I can quote you straight away instead of asking back first. I usually reply within a day.
